We've reduced landfill waste fivefold by optimising material use and recycling processes across the factory.
Closed-loop offcuts
Solid surface byproducts are crushed and reused as sub-base material for pathways; wooden packaging is reused or repurposed for heating.
Sorted at source
Incoming cardboard is recycled into packaging; polyethylene and metal are carefully sorted and sent for recycling.

From a small Latvian factory to a European manufacturer.
Founded in 1994, KORTE has grown from a small Latvian workshop into an international manufacturer of seamless solid surface, serving projects across Europe. We specialise in Corian®, Staron® and Meganite® — combining three decades of craftsmanship with advanced CNC precision.
For healthcare we apply that same made-to-measure engineering to surgical scrub sinks: thermoformed into one continuous, non-porous piece, with coved corners and no joints for bacteria to hide — built to the exact wall it mounts to.

We engineer scrub stations from premium solid surface — Corian®, Staron® and Meganite® — to exact millimetre dimensions. Seamless
Joints disappear. A two-metre scrub station reads as one continuous piece — no grout lines, no shadow gaps.
Repairable
Scratches, scuffs and even chips are sanded out on site. The surface is solid all the way through.
Thermoformable
Heat lets us shape coved corners, integrated basins and recessed grips that stone and ceramic cannot do.
Hygienic
Non-porous and antibacterial. No sealing, no special cleaners — disinfected to clinical protocol.
