Why non-porous solid surface is the hygienic standard for scrub-up

Porous materials and grouted joints give microbes somewhere to live. Solid surface is sealed all the way through — fixtures, bowls and splashbacks fuse into one piece that can be disinfected to clinical protocol without a single seam to trap contamination.

Touch-free by design: sensor faucets, knee controls and dispensers

Every contact point is a chance for cross-contamination. We integrate hands-free faucets, knee-operated mixers and recessed soap and disinfectant dispensers directly into the surface, so a clinician completes the entire scrub without touching a single tap.

Cleanroom-ready: edges, joints and the seamless thermoform advantage

Inside coved corners and radiused edges, conventional sinks fail at the joint. Thermoformed solid surface lets us mould the splashback, bowl and drainage into a single coved form with no 90° traps — the geometry infection-control teams ask for.

FAQ

Specifying for a clinical project?

Yes. Every sink is thermoformed from a single sheet of non-porous solid surface, with no joints, grout or sealant lines for bacteria to colonise. The material is inert and repairable, and each station is finished as one continuous, coved surface that can be disinfected to standard clinical protocol.

Wipe down with standard hospital-grade disinfectants — the non-porous surface holds no residue and has no seams to trap contamination. Because the bowl, splashback and drainage are moulded as one coved form, there are no 90° traps where biofilm can establish.

Every station is made to measure. Send us the wall dimensions, service positions and mounting height, and we manufacture the run to the millimetre for the exact space — including coved returns into adjacent walls.

All three. We integrate sensor-activated faucets, knee-operated mixers and elbow levers directly into the surface, so a clinician completes the full surgical scrub without touching a tap.

We manufacture in Salaspils, Latvia and ship across Europe. Installation can be coordinated with your contractor, or arranged through our team depending on the project and location — contact us with your site and we’ll confirm.

Lead time depends on the series, the number of stations and finishing. As a guide, made-to-measure runs are typically manufactured within a few weeks of a signed specification; we confirm a firm date once dimensions and controls are agreed.
